Bloodless Wars
Sometimes the reality of our life is never what appears.
Most times we are torn between worlds. We want to scream but the louder we
scream, the louder the silence. We are faced with one storm after another and
we are pushed to the wall almost always.
Truth is, we cannot always tell people what we go through
and sometimes they cannot even understand us even if we try to explain. The
simplicity of Life is what makes explanations complicated. Well, I am of the
clearest opinion that you cannot afford explaining your challenges to everybody, for to try to make everybody understand is to wear yourself out; yet we are
faced with the silent wars of our heart and we carry about the bloodless
battles without a word.
We silently begin to build walls that we hope would protect
us from the forces without but again the walls that we build to stop hurt from
coming in also prevents love from flowing in.. We stay caught inside our walls
and with a false sense of hope and security. We unknowingly move towards the
verge of defeat and we are too proud to accept that we are failing at loving,
so we begin to put up shows and charades.
We lie to protect our secret and the
truth remains that nobody can see that we are hurting, nobody can hear us
screaming because the silence is too loud, our voice has been swallowed up by
the sound of nothingness, We have lost our identity, we fight our wars without
knowing who we are and what we are fighting for. We stay lost in our own world
and trapped in the falsehood of our security and walls.
I am no psychologist, so I would not pretend that I
understand what you are going through, I would not dare justify the hurt and
people who hurt you but I can say to you, the only reason you got hurt was
because you had expectations. Don’t put yourself through the heart breaking
process of the cold war’s and slowly move towards the place of hate, you cannot
afford to wreck your future just because you are trying to hide from the past.
The bloodless war would drain your joy and leave you helpless,
instead of boosting your confidence, it leaves you feeling unloved and seeking
succor in places that you shouldn't dare. We heal only when we let people tend
to our wounds, the scars might remain but the hurt does not last forever. You
would need to consciously choose love over hate.
Stop trying to explain to everybody what went wrong, Take
charge of your thought and live free. You are in charge, you are the captain of
your host, Fight for your heart, fight for your territory and be responsible
for what and how you feel. Do not let failed expectation and broken promises
stop you from living, from loving and from believing.
Your future is worth the fight. Don’t let a bad past ruin
the great things that lies ahead. Stay believing, You will always overcome.
