T's Up To You
It’s the euphoria of another new year and the spiritual and
emotional journey begins, A whole lot of us are already making resolutions for
the new year and a whole lot more are getting ready to receive a "prophetic word
for the year" and I am here trying to review an old thought and hoping you
would read it just before you get into the new year.

I shared this thought with a
few friends towards the tail end of every other year and I am convinced to do same even as
we approach the New Year and before you start getting all into the New Year
resolution thingy.
I am trying to figure the
simplest way to transfer this message to you because as it stands in a few
days, majority of us will gather in our various places of worship and be set on
a prophetic path for the new year while the non-religious ones would probably
be drawing up a list of resolutions for the New Year.
Let me state it clearly, I'm in no way against the prophetic, in fact I function in it. I believe that the word of God is true and will always find fulfillment in our lives but have you heard that "miracles do not go where they are wanted but they go where they are expected". Expectation is the breeding ground for miracles. Expectations are literally the breeding ground for success.

I do believe but back to the 31st Night, different church, different service and so many declarations for the New Year, I will give a few that we will hear, You can put together a list of your own
A year of multiple harvest
Commissioned for Exploit
Grace for Expansion
A year of increase and abundance!
A year of greater glory
Take charge and Enlarge your coast
Expansion without limit
Your time to breakforth
A year of Success
Life without Limits
The siege is over.....
To mention but a few!
Spiritual fanaticism does not
erase life challenges and just because you shouted the loudest amen does not
mean you will get the blessing! Friends, you know how many
declarations has been released over your life but why does it seem like nothing
is happening?
SIMPLE,
YOUR POSITIONING IS WRONG!!
You go into every year with the same mind set and you expect to get a different result? It doesn't work that way! No! You can't pour new wine in an old wine skin, Jesus said If you do then you will burst the skin and waste the wine. If you go into the New Year with the same mindset then you will remain the same. It's up to you to position yourself effectively to see the performance of the prophetic word!

the wine skin so if you pour the prophetic word into the same mind that has not
be rightly positioned then you will ruin the integrity of the word, You will
waste it!
You don't have to wait till
your 31st night to get prepared for the New Year....
David showed us why it is important to prepare in advance, the essence of being the best at what you do even when nobody is watching, how vital it is to train privately..
David didn't have a plan to be King, no but He was a King among his sheep, He didn't have a twenty step plan for success and definitely did not read a self help book but God saw the ruddy boy in the back side of the desert and said, this is the man after my heart.
John Maxwell says "If you are not reigning, be training"

He could express himself and He was "spiritual" David’s spiritual state did not
stop him from adequately preparing himself for the life that he desires
You should realize that the
success of the year is up to you
Apart from the fact that you can pray, what else can you do?
Apart from the fact that hands have been laid on you, what else can you do?
The anointing is vital but truth is, it will not do the job you are seeking for, it will not carry out the tasks that has been assigned to you or have you gone to a Restaurant to eat and when you ask the Chef for the recipe, He looks at you and say just trust the anointing?

You will shine this year; ask yourself do you have a light?
Take charge and enlarge your coast, ask yourself do you have the capacity?
It's up to you to position yourself for what the year holds in store for you!
Don't go into a new year with the same mind set, Don’t follow through with the ritual of a new year resolution, It would change nothing. The greatness you seek will begin from/with and in your mind. The race will require your active participation. You must learn to engage your mind, to access and to take risks.. Its up to you to take those shots...
You must move from potential to results, guard your loins, venture.. seek results...
Have an INTENTIONAL YEAR..
